Antique Minature Milk Glass Oil Lamp. The glass chimney is new the rest of the lamp is antique. It is in excellent shape. Just a little rough edges along the globe. No chips or cracks.
This is a gorgeous bedside lamp.
This lamp is sometimes called Paneled Cosmos according to Smith and it has fired on blue paint, which is rare as most of these lamps had 4 different colors. It is featured in Minature Lamps by Frank and Ruth Smith on page 119 Fig. 241.
Ann Gilbert McDonald identified it as the Star Night Lamp. It was made by Consolidated between 1896 and 1902. (Evolution of the Night Lamp pg. 26)
