Did you ever start off doing something just for fun and then decide you love it enough to share with others?
My amazing husband and I decided to move to the country a few years ago. It took a couple of years to save enough money to make the move, but we were finally able to do it. After closing, we quickly began settling in with our two small children.
One of the first items on our list was to start a large garden in the spring. I decided to make garden signs to mark all the plants in the garden. The kids "helped" me, we had so much fun doing it and they turned out so nice, we decided to start a little business.
After we made the plant markers, I had extra clay left over from other projects, so we decided to make "play cookies" and turn them into magnets and Christmas ornaments. We have been having fun creating ever since.
My kids, husband, and our friends and family have given me endless suggestions, ideas, and inspiration on new pieces to create. I have a great time making the pieces in my shop and I hope you enjoy them as well.
